Platform Update: Global Scalability & Resource Optimization
We have completed a series of architectural enhancements to the Metrifox Platform to support our upcoming European expansion and ensure Tier-1 reliability:

Application-Level Memory Optimization: Implemented Puma Clustered Mode with preload_app! logic. This enables Copy-on-Write (CoW) memory sharing across application workers, reducing our RAM footprint by over 60% and allowing for higher request throughput without resource contention.

High-Availability Database Tier: Transitioned our primary RDS cluster to a Multi-AZ (Availability Zone) deployment. This provides synchronous data replication and automated failover, reducing our Recovery Time Objective (RTO) to under 2 minutes.

Cryptographic Data Protection: Standardized AES-256 server-side encryption across all S3 storage buckets, ensuring all customer metering logs meet international data residency and security standards.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Migrated core network and storage configurations to Terraform, ensuring environment idempotency (the ability to redeploy the exact same setup every time) and eliminating manual configuration drift.
